Jennifer Lopez dispels retirement plans
Jennifer Lopez has back-tracked on her plans to retire to spend more time with her twins. Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February and said she wanted to take a break from her career to care for the children.
The 39-year-old singer has now said she has two films and a best-of album in the pipeline. She has been seen at a number of public events of late, nabbing front row seats at Dolce and Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2009 women's collection in Milan. Jennifer Lopez stole the show in a tight white dress with lacing down the back. Claudia Shiffer, Dita Von Teese, and Matthew McConaughey also attended the star-studded event. Jennifer Lopez also completed a marathon last week alongside McConaughey whose Brazilian girlfriend Camila Alves gave birth to their first child seven weeks ago. Posted on 29 Sep 2008

Jennifer Lopez has laughed off long-standing rumours she has an extensive list of travel demands, blaming the media for exaggerating reports.
The Jenny From The Block hitmaker has previously been said to demand an all-white dressing room and hotel accommodation, decked out in white lilies or roses. Other requests allegedly include grapefruit or lime blossom scented candles from beauty firm Jo Malone, humidifiers and a preferred room temperature of 26 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit). But Lopez insists the demands that have earned her a reputation as a diva are unfounded - and any peculiar requests are probably down to her personal assistants who do their best to make her feel at home while she's abroad. She says, "I think it's easier to make up this type of story rather than tell the truth. Like everybody in this profession, I have a list but I haven't seen mine in years. "I'm sure it's got (sic) longer without me knowing it. Really, I don't have any special requests, it must be my team's doing. Jennifer Lopez no 'repeat' outfits for kids
Jennifer Lopez insists on dressing her twins in new designer outfits every day, it has been claimed. The 38-year-old star, who is married to singer Marc Anthony, doesn't like five-month-old daughter Emme and son Max to wear the same clothes twice.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jennifer was approached by a charity and asked to donate some dresses for a celebrity auction. She agreed and donated a gorgeous £5,000 dress. "She also offered some of Max and Emme's clothes, telling organisers she never lets them 'repeat' outfits. But the auction only deals in adult clothes. Jennifer told them it was a shame, as some items cost over £500 each." Meanwhile, Jennifer and Marc, 39, are reportedly looking for their third new nanny after the last two were unable to cope with the gruelling schedule demanded by the couple. A source told National Enquirer magazine: "Normally people who make huge sums of money and have loads of professional and social obligations hire a nanny for each child, especially for newborns. But it is as if Jennifer expects one nanny not only to take care of both twins, but to work 16-hour days, seven days a week." Jennifer Lopez all set for the Triathlon
Just eight months after giving birth to her twins namely Max and Emma, Latino superstar Jennifer Lopez is training rigorously to participate in a Triathlon.
The talented singer, who had gained a few pounds during her pregnancy, was snapped on vacation recently in Italy with her bikini body back, all thanks to her fitness regime. The Latin hottie's husband Marc Anthony revealed that his singer wife is on a strict training programme on foot, on bike and in water to be fit for the Triathlon. Marc Anthony told the TV Show Extra about Jennifer's training for the Triathlon to be held in October, reports Contactmusic. "Jennifer is training for a triathlon. In October." Marc Anthony also confessed he'll be watching and encouraging his wife from the sidelines rather than working up a sweat with the Latin singer. "I'm very supportive. Jennifer Lopez shuts down her restaurant in Pasadena
After six years, Jennifer Lopez's restaurant Madre's is closed for business, according to a sign hanging on the door.
The fancy diner, which opened in April 2002 with a bash that included celebs Nicole Kidman, Christian Slater and then-boyfriend Ben Affleck, shut its doors on July 1, according to TMZ.com. The restaurant, which once employed her ex-husband Ojani Noa as a manager, has a sign posted outside that reads Madre is closed "until further notice." Posted on 21 Jul 2008

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc anthony are furious about a book the salsa singer's ex-wife is writing about their divorce, according to reports.
Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres has written a self-help text, inspired by her split from Anthony, who ditched her in 2004 to marry Lopez. Married to Me doesn't refer to her ex-husband or Lopez by name - but sources tell the National Enquirer the superstar couple believe Torres is cashing in on their fame. An insider tells the tabloid, "The belief in the Lopez family is that Marc's ex only did this to capitalise on Jennifer's marriage to Marc and also because Dayanara is jealous of Marc's happiness.
