Jennifer Lopez has signed on to star in the fertility-themed romantic comedy Plan B for CBS Films, reports Variety.
Written by Kate Angelo, the story centers on a single woman (Lopez) who turns to artificial insemination to answer her ticking biological clock only to meet the man of her dreams on the same day as her positive pregnancy test results. Jennifer Lopez has listed her French farmhouse estate in Bel-Air at $8.5 million. J-Lo, her singer husband, Marc Anthony, and their 9-month-old fraternal twins have been the subject of ongoing sightings in the Long Island community of Brookville, fueling speculation that they have relocated to New York. And she thought the 405 was bad?  The house that the pair just listed has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 7,357 square feet. The walled and gated villa sits on three-quarters of an acre and, according to the Multiple Listing Service, has a "European ambience." There is a detached guesthouse, a pool and pool house, gardens and pathways around the property upon which to amble, though it's hard to imagine Lopez and Anthony as amblers. Jennifer Lopez is one of the industry's highest-paid actresses and was named by Forbes magazine as the richest person of Latin American descent in Hollywood. As a singer, she has sold more than 48 million albums worldwide. Among her many song hits are "Jenny From the Block" and "Love Don't Cost a Thing." Her movie credits include "Bordertown" (2006), "Out of Sight" (1998) and " Selena" (1997). Her personal life has been just as closely followed as her career. She was once engaged to actor Ben Affleck and spent years romantically linked to musician Sean "Diddy" Combs. When her twins were a month old, she introduced them to the world in a 12-page spread in People magazine, which allegedly paid up to $6 million for the exclusive baby photos. Anthony, who married Jennifer Lopez just four days after divorcing the previous Mrs. (former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres), has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, according to his website. The King of Salsa won Latin Grammys in 1999 and 2005 and has enjoyed crossover success with his smash single "I Need to Know." Jennifer Lopez is “trying to make one more baby” with husband Marc Anthony.
The 39-year-old actress – who welcomed her first children, twins Max and Emme, into the world in February – is said to be desperately trying to conceive again. A source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly magazine: “They were advised to wait six months after she gave birth. They listened to their doctor’s advice, but now they’re trying to make one more baby. “Jennifer can’t believe how much she loves motherhood. Of course, she always knew she wanted to be a mom one day, but she wasn’t quite prepared for the overwhelming joy these children have given her or how it’s really cemented her relationship with Marc. She would love a full house!” Jennifer recently revealed becoming a mother had altered her "whole perspective on life". She said: "It has changed me very much. It really prioritised what you thought was important and what was not so important. "But it's great because it makes you very focused on the things in your life that you need to concentrate on. Jennifer Lopez Signs First-Look TV Deal with Universal
She may have bailed on Project Runway, but multi-hyphenate Jennifer Lopez is poised to add some new TV credits to her ever-growing resume.
Along with her company Nuyorican Prods, the former Fly Girl has inked a two-year first-look deal with Universal Media Studios to exclusively develop a slate of TV projects for the NBC family, Variety reports. Lopez, who once guested on NBC's Will & Grace, has already branched out into television producing, bringing series to the Disney Channel (Amigas), the defunct UPN (South Beach), the SAP-py Univision (Como ama una mujer) and MTV (Dancelife). The singer/actress may find herself battling, well, herself if or when any of her new projects hit the air though. Ben Affleck has opened up about his high-profile engagement to Jennifer Lopez - insisting the pair was "too accessible" to the media.
Affleck and Lopez - both now remarried with children - began dating in 2002 after meeting on set of their film Gigli. The former couple split shortly before they were due to wed in September 2004 - marking the end of a media circus that surrounded their relationship. He says, "I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were excited and maybe too accessible. Jennifer Lopez wasn't interested at first in adding men's products to her fashion or fragrance collections.
"I know women's stuff. ... I don't know men's,'' she says. "I thought that women's clothes was enough of a drama.'' The thought of a Glow or Live Luxe for men never crossed her mind -- even if it crossed the minds of marketers -- because, she says, "You can't force it.'' Deseo, a floral-woody perfume launched in February, was different, however. "If you see the bottle, hear the name, there's an outdoor theme, it seemed right,'' Lopez explains in an interview before a recent bottle-signing appearance at Macy's. Creating the juice wasn't easy: She wanted masculine but not something too common like a musk. "I wanted to think outside the box,'' she says. The starting points were the smells of red hot sauce and whiskey, while the final result has notes of lemon, tobacco, suede and amber. "I'm a stickler for the fragrance. I'll go back that one more time to make sure it's perfect. I want to feel like I love it,'' she says. She sometimes wears it and so does her husband, Marc Anthony -- and it's not a given that he'd wear something with her name on the bottle. "He'd have a choice. That man has a mind of his own.''
