Marc Anthony celebrates Jennifer Lopez in ad
Singer MARC ANTHONY took out a full-page ad in American entertainment trade newspaper Variety yesterday (06JUNE06), proclaiming his love for wife JENNIFER LOPEZ and congratulating her on receiving a Women In Film Award. The ad featured a mock page from a screenplay in which he referred to the singer/actress by her nickname Lola. The screenplay describes Lopez receiving her award and being directed to "Cut to: Marc Anthony, her proud husband, sitting in the audience aware of how lucky he is to be with the love of his life and sharing in this moment". The ad ends with Anthony saying, "Here's to never waking up baby, you deserve it. I love you." Garner 'Steps Down' from 'Dallas' Casting
Jennifer Garner reportedly turned down the role of Pamela Ewing in the forthcoming Dallas movie, after discovering her husband Ben Affleck's ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez had signed to star in the remake.
The Alias beauty started dating her Daredevil co-star in July 2004--seven months after the actor ended his high-profile engagement with J.Lo.

British newspaper the Daily Mail claims Garner was in talks to play Bobby Ewing's wife Pam, but backed out when she realized Lopez would be playing JR's alcoholic wife Sue-Ellen.

A source says, "Jennifer Garner was really keen to be in Dallas, but I think she felt there would be a bit of a strain between them on the set and that could have led to awkward situations.

"Both are totally professional, but there might have been a certain 'atmosphere' and Jennifer Garner didn't need to go there."

Singer loses suit against Jennifer Lopez and LL Cool J song
On Wednesday a California federal appeals court dismissed a lawsuit filed in 2003 against Jennifer Lopez and LL Cool J. The court decided singer Debra Laws did not have a case against the artists or Sony Music for allegedly misappropriating her 1981 song "Very Special" in their 2002 collaboration, "All I Have." Since Sony obtained a license to use a 10-second segment of Laws' song, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Laws should instead sue her label and publisher for breach of contract for entering a license agreement without her authorization.
