Singer Marc Anthony is praising his wife Jennifer Lopez for having lots of determination and passion in life. According to contactmusic.com, Anthony married Jennifer Lopez just two months after she broke up with Ben Affleck. Anthony says: "I have never met anybody with such laser focus, such clarity. It's just fascinating to me, the way she does not do anything by halves.

Jennifer Lopez : her album teaches her about mistakes
JENNIFER LOPEZ found making her latest album a cathartic experience, because she sings about the mistakes she's made in relationships. Lopez is happily married to singer husband MARC ANTHONY after failed marriages to Cuban waiter AJANI NOA and choreographer CRIS JUDD, as well as aborted engagements to SEAN COMBS and BEN AFFLECK. On her forthcoming Spanish-language album, Lopez examines the life lessons she has learned during her various heartbreaks. She says, "It just talks about maybe I've rushed, maybe I've made mistakes, but you know my only sin is that I was loving the way a woman loves."

J.Lo to spice up Fashion Week
Jennifer Lopez has chosen Fashion Week Miami Beach, Oct. 11-15, to premiere her two fashion lines, JLO and Sweetface. Lopez will showcase her JLO line at a runway show at the tents on Fifth Street and Lenox Avenue on Oct. 12 with an afterparty at Lincoln Road's Funkshion Lounge. Her Sweetface fashion show is at the Hotel Nash on the 14th.

Jennifer Lopez Film Scores Big as Toronto Festival Closes
Birthday boy Marc Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez are celebrating after their Hector Lavoe biopic became the subject of the biggest deal at this year's Toronto Film Festival in Canada late on Friday.
Anthony, who turned 38 on Saturday, plays the late salsa superstar in the acclaimed new movie El Cantante, which premiered in Toronto last week. Lopez plays Lavoe's wife Puchi in the film, which was bought for almost $5 million by executives at Picturehouse, who now plan to release the film in July 2007. Picturehouse spokesman Bob Berney says, "The Latino community is really an underserved market, but because of the music and the cast, we really think it can cross over." Posted on 19 Sep 2006

When it comes to looking good, singer Jennifer Lopez’s secret is not lots of make-up or plastic surgery but getting a good night’s sleep. The ‘Waiting For Tonight’ singer revealed that sleep was her “weapon” and that she makes sure that she sleeps for at least 8 hours every night to ensure she keeps looking good.
"Sleep is my weapon. I try to get eight hours a night. I think sleep, water and a good cleanser works best," Femalefirst quoted her, as telling Top of the Pops magazine. However, despite being considered one of Hollywood’s most stunning women, Jennifer Lopez insists she that no matter how hard she tries, there will be times when she doesn’t look her best. "I'm only human. I can't always look my best," she added. Jennifer Lopez is happy as she learned a leading suspect in the murders her new film “Bordertown” revolves around has been arrested, according tofemalefirst.co.uk.
The star knew of the arrest of a key suspect, in what have been dubbed the maquiladoras murders, on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie. Jennifer Lopez stars a journalist investigating the rapes and murders of factory workers in Cuidad Jarez, Mexico that rocked the city since 1993. "This movie has been very topical for a long time. This is has been going on for many, many years and it's also one of the reasons I wanted to make this movie. It's such an important story and I just felt this is some way I can bring life to this story. I'm really interested to find out what happened. Toronto: J-Lo makes her entrance
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony have stolen the show at the Toronto International Film Festival. The duo were in attendance for the premiere of their film, El Cantante. Jennifer Lopez produces and stars in the movie alongside her husband.
El Cantante is based on the life of Hector Lavoe (Anthony), a Puerto Rican singer who heads to America to find fame. Lavoe gains a crowd of followers in New York and falls in love with beauty queen Puchi (Jennifer Lopez), who helps him develop his signature sound by combining Puerto Rican and American influences. The result is the infamous salsa music. Lavoe is eventually drawn into the drug scene, which threatens to destroy his career and his relationship Puchi. Jennifer Lopez said mixing business with pleasure was not a problem for her. She said: "We work in a very professional manner. We always have. We met working so it has never been anything that we really think about. We just do it." Anthony says he can't believe their film made it into the Toronto Film Festival. "This is a little surreal," Anthony said. "So many years went into it. I was just telling Jen in the car, 'Weren't we filming this a few weeks ago?'" Anthony also says working on the film with Jennifer Lopez brought the two closer together. He said: "It ended up being the best experience we have ever had together. We laughed a lot, we had a lot and fun because we were so different than the characters. "We realised how special our relationship was actually because theirs was so dysfunctional." Photographer falls foul of Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez has been branded a jealous wife after allegedly sending a bodyguard over to break up a dance between her husband MARC ANTHONY and an old friend. Brazilian photographer SELMA FONSECA was left speechless when she was reprimanded for dancing with Anthony at music producer SWIZZ BEATZ's birthday party after the MTV Video Music Awards last week (31AUG06). She claims a bodyguard stormed onto the dancefloor and told her to stop dancing with the Latino hunk. Fonseca tells US tabloid the Globe, "I've known Marc for years. We danced a little bit, and he held me - but it was just a friendly thing. "All of a sudden, one of J Lo's bodyguards comes over and points a finger in my face. He says, 'Don't ever dance with Marc...!' I couldn't believe it." But Fonseca, who later took a photo of a surly looking Jennifer Lopez as she left the party with her husband, insists the warning won't stop her from hitting the dancefloor with Anthony in the future. The defiant snapper adds, "This doesn't bother me one bit."
